The Sagamore

Courtyard Renovation

Scope of Work

Located in the heart of the Upper West Side, The Sagamore is a vibrant 18 story rental building operated by Bozzuto Management Company.  In the second-floor court, nested above the building’s underground parking structure, there is a secluded outdoor garden.  Exclusive to building residents, the ample size of the court allows hosting of functions, exercise classes, meetings and other special events that enhances the building’s sense of community.

Bozzuto approached ARC to take the conceptual design developed by the owner’s furniture consultant through design development to completion, including overseeing the project during construction.

Using the furniture layout as a starting point, ARC defined the public patio and pet exercise area with a bladed linear wall system from European manufacturer Renson. The wall system defines different spaces and provides a sense of continuity that is enhanced at night through the use of LED ambient lighting that is incorporated within the wall system.

The kitchen area is defined within the patio with a rustic wall and counter, and ample movable seating is arranged in the patio to provide generous seating groups.
